כיצד לבחור גור –

אתם בדרך לראות את הגורים לראשונה.
אני מזהיר מראש, הם יהיו ממש חמודים, אך עליכם להבין שיש דרך לבחור גור בצורה נכונה, אל תתנו לרגשות שלכם לשחק תפקיד.

כאשר תפגשו את שגר הגורים לראשונה, סביר להניח שאחד הגורים יגרום לכם לחמלה, אולי זה יהיה הגור הגדול, או אולי הקטן ביותר, אולי זה יהיה גור עם צבע מסוים או אפילו כזה עם מבט עצוב.

הרושם הראשוני יכול להיות משכנע מאוד, אבל תצטרכו לראות את הגור שמאחורי הפנים היפות, לפני שתגיעו להחלטה.
לכל גור אופי משלו, כלבים חיים בעולם המוגדר על ידי היררכיה ולא דמוקרטיה.
בעולם שלהם יש סדר אך הוא שונה משלנו.

להלן חמישה טיפוסים שונים שיאפיינו את אופי הגורים ע"פ המדרג החברתי:

1. מנהיג הלהקה.
זהו הגור הדומיננטי ביותר, הוא יקרא תיגר על כולם וינצח.
הוא אוהב לשחק ולהתגושש, בעיקר מפני שהוא תמיד מנצח.
לרוב הוא הגור הפעיל יותר שתמיד זז ומנסה לטפס ולברוח לכל מקום אפשרי.
קשה אוד התעלם ממנו.

סביר להניח שתפגשו בו קודם.
הוא ידהר קדימה יזנק באוויר ויכשכש בזנבו במרץ.
הוא יקפוץ עליכם ויינשך נשיכות משחק.
הוא עשוי גם לנהום יותר מכולם.

הבעלים המתאימים – אנשים ספורטיביים, בעלי משמעת עצמית גבוהה, על הבעלים להיות סבלני, שלו ואסרטיבי.
כבעלים של כלב דומיננטי, אני חייב לומר שזוהי משימה לא פשוטה, צריך להיות עקבי בכל רגע ורגע, אחרת אתם תרגישו את השינוי בהתנהגותו של הכלב במהרה.

2. הסגן.
כמו הגור הדומיננטי ביותר, גם "הסגן" אוהב לשחק משחקי כוחות.
הוא מבלה את מרבית זמנו בהדיפת הגור הדומיננטי ביותר ואוהב מאוד לחקור את הסביבה.

להבדיל מגור מספר 1, מספר 2 אינו נדחף באופן ישיר לכל מי שמתקרב.
הוא עשוי ללקק, לכרסם ולקפוץ עליכם רק כדי להראות שגם הוא די נמרץ וחביב.

הבעלים המתאימים – אף שהוא פחות רברבן ממספר 1, הכלבלב הזה הוא נמרץ ופעיל, הוא זקוק לבעלים עם תכונות דומות
הוא יפקח עליכם עין וידאג לנצל את הרגעים בהם תפגינו חולשה.
הוא יהיה נפלא עם ילדים מתבגרים ( 12+ ) וישגשג במשפחה אשר תספק לו גירוי פיזי הולם ומשמעת קפדנית.

3. החוקר.
לגור הזה נטייה לחקור, הוא יגן על עצמו בעת קרבות עם אחיו ואחיותיו לשגר, אבל התחרות היא לא כל כך בשבילו.
הוא יעדיף לחקור את הסביבה ולהשתתף בפעילויות רגועות יותר.

את השינוי בין מספר 3, למספרים 1 ו-2 תרגישו מיד.
הגור הזה ישב בשקט ובשלווה ואולי גם ילך בעקבותיכם כאשר תצעדו בחדר.
הוא לרוב ילקק אתכם, או שהוא יטפס על החזה שלכם, אך הוא לא יינשך כמו שני הקודמים.
הבעלים המתאימים – מספר 3 מתאים לרוב למשפחות שקטות ורגועות, אך הוא יהיה גם עמיד בסביבה רועשת והומה.
אף שיזדקק לאילוף, "החוקר" לרוב, לא יקרא תיגר על מעמד הבעלים.

4. הפאסיבי.
הגור הזה הוא ביישן מאוד בחברת האחים לשגר.
הוא נכנע בקלות לשאר האחים אשר מזהים בקלות את האנרגיה החלשה שלו.
הוא ישחק רק עם האחים אשר מדורגים בחלק התחתון של ההיררכיה והוא יחקור את הסביבה בזהירות.

הגור הפאסיבי רגוע ושקט, הוא עשוי ללקק אתכם, אך בהיסוס ועדינות.
הוא לא יזנק עליכם ולעולם לא ינסה לטפס עליכם.
כשתלכו בחדר, יתכן שהוא יעדיף לצפות בכם מהצד.

הבעלים המתאימים – גור מספר 4 הוא בעל מזג עדין ורגוע, הוא יזדקק לבעלים אשר יהיו רגועים באופיים.
ילדי המשפחה בהחלט ייהנו מכלב עם אופי שכזה.
הגור הזה יזדקק למנהיג להקה רגוע ואסרטיבי אשר לא נכנס לעולם להתקפי לחץ.
רצוי מאוד לעבוד עם המון חיזוקים חיוביים ומעט תיקונים.

5. הביישן.
זהו הגור שכולם נמסים בפניו.
הוא יגיב בפחד שאחיו הדומיננטים יותר התקרבו אליו.
הוא כן עשוי לשחק עם הגורים האחרים, אך לרוב הוא ישחק עם עצמו.
זהו הגור אשר ילעס צעצוע בפינת החדר לבדו, בזמן שאחיו יחקרו את הסביבה וישחקו אחד עם השני משחקי כוחות.

אתם בטוח תרחמו על הגור הזה.
הוא יהיה מאושר כאשר הוא יתכרבל בחיקכם ובנוסף הוא גם עלול להגיב בפחד כאשר יבחין בתנועה חדה בקרבתו.
רעשים חזקים לא ימצאו חן בעיניו.

הבעלים המתאימים – גור מספר 5 לא מתאים לילדים כיוון שהוא רגיש לאנרגיות גבוהות ולא יציבות, מה גם שרעש ומהומה יחדירו בו לחץ ויגרמו לו להלם.
הגור הביישן יזדקק למנהיג להקה סבלני, אסרטיבי ותומך, אשר יעזור לו בדבקות ובנכונות ללמוד להכיל את העולם שבחוץ – מסימה לא קלה.

How to chose the right puppy?

You are on your way to see the puppies for the first time.
I have to warn you out – they all going to be super cute.
You must understand chosing a puppy plays a big role and you should not let your feelings overcome.

When you meet the puppies for the first time most probably you will feel compassionate about some of them, maybe it will be the smallest one, the biggest, a specific color or just the look in its eyes.

First impression can be very convincing, but you have to look deeper into the puppy behind his pretty eyes before you make up a decision.
Every puppy is an individul with his own characteristics.
Dogs lives in a world running by hierarchy not a democracy.
They do rule an order but it is very different than human reality.

There are five different types of puppies that define their characteristics according to the social hierarchy:

1.The leader of the pack-
That is the most dominant puppy, he will challenge his siblings and win every battle.
Being the winner he will be thrived more and more to play and do it rough.
Most of the time he will be very active, constantly moving around trying to climb and explore his surroundings.
It is very hard to avoid and miss this one.
Probably he will be the first running to you, full of energy and wagging his tail.
He might jump on you, invite you to play, try to nip you and growl more than his brothers and sisters.

Preferd owner-
An active person who likes sports, self deciplined, assertive and tolerant.
It is not an easy task, the owner must stay alert at all times or the dog will take advange of him.

2.The Lieutenant-
Just like the pack leader the Lieutenant love to demonstrate his power.
He will spend most of his time countering the pack leader and loves to explore.
Unlike the pack leader the Lieutenant is not necessarily going to run towards you but he will surely seek you attention by chewing, licking or jumping on you.

Preferd owner-
Being less cocky than the pack leader still doesnt make him an easy choice, he is energetic and require his owner to have the same characteristics as the pack leader owner.
He will be watching you and make sure to take advantage when you show your weakness.
He most likley to be a wounderful companion to adolecents (12+) and if supplied with enough physical challenges and obedience training he will be a great addiotion to the family.

3. The Researcher-
This puppy has a tendency to explore, he will defend himself from his siblings but less likely to challenge them.
He will be more towards clam activities.
You will notice the difference between #1 & #2 right away.
He will sit quietly and peacfuly and might even follow you around the room
trying to lick you or climb on you but would not test and bite you.

Preferd owner-
Most suitable for a quiet family with an easy going lifestyle, but still is able to show tolerance when it gets loud.

4.The Passive-
He will be the one that is abit shy next to his siblings, backing up very easily and give up his pack ranking.
His siblings will take advantage of his low energy making him only want to play with other pack members ranked below him and exploring around with caution.

The passive puppy is very quiet and might only lick you, once he feels comfortable enough.
He will never try climbing on you and when you walk around the room it can be that he will chose waching you from distance.

Preferd owner-
Puppy #4 is very gentle and will be best with a gentle owner.
The kids in the family would definatly enjoy having him around.
This puppy going to need an assertive pack leader who can keep it cool under pressure.
It is recommended to train him positively with only a little correction.

5.The Timid-
The puupy that will make all your sympathy come alive.
He will only be happy when cuddling close to you, he might react with fear to noise and fast moving objects around him.

Preferd owner-
The timid puppy is highly sensitive to energies makes him not suitable for living with childern, he is more vulnerable and can be traumatic.
He will need a supportive and an assertive owner to guide him through this world – not an easy task.
